待望のアナログ・マスタリングでの12インチLPリリース。
両面表紙のスぺシャルジャケット仕様。

「冬夏」
東京・原宿に2022年オープンしたTHE NORTH FACEの意欲的な新店舗ビル"THE NORTH FACE Sphere"。

そのサウンド・トラックとして「春夏秋冬・四季に合わせた、それぞれ一枚のアルバムを」とのリクエストを受けharuka nakamuraが作った音楽は「Light years」と冠され、一年をかけて四枚のアルバムを制作するプロジェクトとなった。
LPでは制作時系列の世界観から「春秋」「冬夏」に分かれ、４枚のオリジナルアルバムからセレクトされたベスト盤になっている。
本作「冬夏」は第一作「Light years」と、第三作「from dusk to the sun」のベスト盤となる。
（「春秋」バージョンも同時発売となる。）

配信とカセットテープではすでに発売となっているが、
新たにアナログマスタリングをorbeの田辺玄（studio camel house)が行い、待望のリリースとなる。
